Terms of Service
User Responsibilities
By booking training services with Canine Training Group, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information regarding yourself and your dog.
Owners must disclose any known medical conditions, behavioural concerns, aggression, bite history, or any other information that may affect the safety or suitability of training. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in services being refused or terminated without refund.
Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog is physically fit and healthy enough to participate in training sessions. If there is any doubt regarding a dog's health or suitability for training, veterinary advice should be sought prior to attending.
Owners remain responsible for the supervision and safety of children, family members, and other persons present during training sessions.
Owners are responsible for complying with all applicable laws relating to dog ownership, including but not limited to identification, control, and welfare requirements.
Veterinary Treatment
In the event of an emergency, the owner authorises Canine Training Group to obtain veterinary treatment for their dog where reasonably necessary.
Every effort will be made to contact the owner prior to obtaining treatment. However, where immediate action is required to protect the health or welfare of the dog, treatment may be sought without prior contact.
The owner accepts full responsibility for any veterinary fees, medication costs, transportation costs, or related expenses incurred.
The owner also authorises Canine Training Group to use an alternative veterinary practice if their usual veterinary practice is unavailable.
Payment and Fees
All services provided by Canine Training Group are subject to payment.
Prices are displayed on the website and may vary depending on the service selected.
Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Canine Training Group reserves the right to amend pricing at any time. Any changes will not affect confirmed bookings that have already been paid for or agreed.
Failure to make payment may result in services being suspended or cancelled.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Training sessions cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice may be rescheduled or refunded at the discretion of Canine Training Group.
Training sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged in full.
Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will result in the session being forfeited without refund.
Canine Training Group reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, severe weather, emergencies, venue issues, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. In such cases, an alternative appointment will be offered or a refund provided where appropriate.
Training Risks and Disclaimer
Dog training involves working with animals whose behaviour can be unpredictable. Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure the safety of dogs, owners, trainers, and members of the public, participation in training carries an inherent risk of injury, illness, loss, or property damage.
By engaging the services of Canine Training Group, owners acknowledge and accept these risks.
Canine Training Group shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, costs, or expenses arising from participation in training sessions except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Training Outcomes
Every dog is an individual and training results will vary depending on factors including temperament, genetics, environment, owner consistency, and commitment to training.
Canine Training Group does not guarantee specific behavioural or training outcomes.
Owners acknowledge that long-term success depends on their willingness to implement and maintain the training advice, guidance, and recommendations provided.
Media and Marketing
Unless otherwise requested in writing, the owner grants Canine Training Group permission to use photographs and videos taken during training sessions for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes, including use on websites, social media platforms, and printed materials.
Owners may withdraw consent at any time by providing written notice.
Refusal of Service
Canine Training Group reserves the right to refuse or terminate services where:
• A dog presents an unacceptable safety risk
• Relevant behavioural or medical information has not been disclosed
• An owner behaves in an abusive, threatening, or inappropriate manner
• Continued training is deemed unsuitable or unsafe
In such circumstances, refunds will be provided at the sole discretion of Canine Training Group.
Force Majeure
Canine Training Group shall not be liable for any delay or failure to provide services resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, severe weather, accidents, natural disasters, government restrictions, venue closures, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen events.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking, attending, or participating in any service provided by Canine Training Group, the owner confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
